School started just before Kate turned 4 months, I've been busy with Chris, babysitting Lainey and juggling our girl's schedule. So I know this post is about 3 weeks late... but better late than never!
Kate is now 4 months old and getting bigger by the day. At her 4 month pediatric visit she was 15 lbs. 12 oz. and 25 inches long! Her head now measures 16.75". Her head and weight fall in the 90th percentile and her length, 75th! She is filling out nicely!
Her pediatrician gave us the go ahead to start her on rice cereal and follow up with 1st baby foods. We let Chris get Kate used to the spoon buy pretending to feed her. The pictures above were taken by Chris on that day. The last 2 photos, are of Kate's actual first feeding. We let Chris do the honors! He loved it! Sooo messy!
She is now rolling over from her tummy to back, putting everything in her mouth, drooling like a faucet, and if we are funny enough, she will give us the sweetest little belly laugh!
The last few weeks of the summer Chris had a ball taking lots of pictures of Kate, and we have several cute ones. I will create slide shows of each photo shoot on their own... stay tuned!
